Alastair Dutton
Co-founder

From the age of 15, Alastair knew he wanted to work in energy, and went on to gain a degree in Energy Management & Technology. His early career was in energy efficiency before moving over to renewable power generation including solar PV and onshore wind.  For the past 20 years, Alastair’s career has been dedicated to offshore wind.  For 7 years at The Crown Estate, he managed the UK’s offshore wind development programme. During this time, Alastair was one of the leading practitioners during the formative years of the sector. He then continued his time in the public sector working on policy and regulation for offshore wind at the UK’s Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy.  Over the last 6 years, Alastair has been focused on taking offshore wind global. To date, he has provided strategic advice on offshore wind in 38 countries.  Alastair was the founding Chair of the Global Offshore Wind Task Force and is Lead Consultant to the World Bank’s Offshore Wind Development Program.

Chris Lloyd
Co-founder

Chris realised he wanted to work in renewables while at university in 1999. After his geology degree he completed one of the few masters level courses in renewables at the time, at Loughborough University. He entered the industry in 2003, started developing offshore wind projects in 2004, and has since worked in a wide variety of organisations and roles focused entirely on the development and deployment of offshore wind. Chris worked at The Crown Estate, with Alastair, were he established a programme of collaborative strategic works to de-risk and accelerate offshore wind in the UK. He currently works in mature markets for a large European developer and also as a consultant to the World Bank's offshore wind team, advising emerging offshore wind markets globally.

Alyssa Pek
Head of Marketing

Alyssa is passionate about the environment and finding innovative solutions to build a better future for the next generation. So after receiving her Master’s degree in Political Communication and Strategy, it was a natural step to launch her career by supporting the uptake of clean energy globally. Alyssa quickly caught the renewable energy bug, and has dedicated her career to helping accelerate the clean energy transition ever since.   She has worked for trade associations across a wide spectrum of clean energy solutions, including solar PV, electrification, energy efficiency, and clean transport, before focusing on wind power. Alyssa supported the expansion of wind power into emerging markets as Chief of Staff and Communications Director of the Global Wind Energy Council. Alyssa is currently leading the communication and outreach for offshore wind at the World Bank Group, and in her free time she is a freelance journalist on climate and sustainability issues.
