ARMSA Academy and Offshore Wind Learning partner up to close the offshore wind skills gap


21 March 2024, Bilbao - ARMSA Academy and Offshore Wind Learninghave signed a new partnership to attract and skill-up more people in the offshore wind workforce globally.

 

According to Offshore Wind Learning, around 1 million people will need to enter the offshore wind workforce by 2033 to meet growing demand across the world. This means training at a scale and pace never-before-seen. To address this skills gap and keep the world on track for net zero, these two industry training organisations have now joined forces to accelerate the rate of learning about offshore wind.

 

Offshore Wind Learning offers a unique online course that has been developed to be accessible as possible, no matter a person’s experience in the sector, stage in their career, or learning style. The course covers all the most important topics related to offshore wind from policy, to engineering, to project development, to health and safety, and much more to give students a well rounded overview of this growing industry.
